You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This striking perennial is a wonderful addition to the garden, offering stunning metallic blue flowers during summer and autumn.
The plant enjoys a full sun position in free draining soil. It is drought tolerant once established.
This hardy plant should grow to around 70cm high by 50cm wide.
