Description
Eryngium planum.
Blue Sea Holly is a fantastic, eye-catching addition to the garden.
This hardy perennial is drought and wind tolerant (once established) and able to withstand salty air and sandy soils.
The plant itself has green to silver / blue stems topped with blue, thistle-like flowers, which will attract attention through January until March.
They are happiest in full sun positions and should grow to around 90cm high by 45cm wide.
A fabulous cut flower.
