You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.
Lavandula angustifolia ‘Hidcote’.
This lovely form of English Lavender offers highly aromatic flowers and foliage.
The dark flowers appear in late spring and early summer, helping to attract bees and pollinators into the garden.
This hardy perennial enjoys a full sun position in well draining soil.
It should grow to about 50cm high by 50cm wide.
