You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within two months. Alternatively, you can use it as a decorative pot plant as the coir pot will last between 12-18 months (then you can plant it in the ground).

Agastache aurantiaca ‘Yellow’.
Native to the south western USA, this lovely perennial offers a cheerful display of tubular yellow flowers throughout summer and autumn, that the butterflies and bees will love.
The plant enjoys a full sun to light shade position and it can handle most soil types. It should grow around 50cm in height and is ideal for containers.
The foliage is fragrant and the flowers are edible.
