You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This spring – summer flowering perennial has leathery leaves and beautiful purple flowers. The flowers will help attract beneficial insects into your garden and they’re great for flower arrangements.
Statice is easy to care for, very drought tolerant and enjoys a full-sun position in well-draining soil. It has a flowering height of 70cm and a width of 50cm.
