You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Description

Plectranthus graveolens. 3.7L coir pot.

Also known as Native Coleus, Bush Basil, Mountain Plectranthus.

This plant is a type of mint but due to the aroma of the foliage, it’s often used in a similar way to basil.

The hairy leaves of this bee-attracting native herb can be used dried or cooked and they offer a range of flavours.

This hardy plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in free draining soil.

It is ideal for containers and should grow about 1.2m high by 1.8m wide.

Small blue / purple flowers are produced throughout the year.
