Description

Burdekin Plum – Pleiogynium timorense. 3.7L coir pot.

Also known as Tulip Plum, this rainforest tree should grow around 10m in height in the garden.

During summer, small yellow – green flowers will appear which will develop into fruit over the winter months.

The large, black fruit have a large stone in the middle. When the fruit is ripe, harvest them, but leave them for a few days before eating them as they are acidic and hard straight from the tree.

The plant prefers a sunny position in free draining soil.
