Description
Syzygium oleosum. 3.7L coir pot.
This lovely plant produces beautiful blue berries which offer a light crunch and a slightly sweet flavour. They’re ideal for using in jams, wines, syrups and sauces.
Creamy white flowers are produced from spring to winter.
The plant prefers a full sun to part shade position and it makes an ideal edible hedge.
Hardy and drought tolerant once established, the plant enjoys rich, free-draining soil and should grow about 6m high by 4m wide but it can be maintained to a more manageable size with pruning.
