Description
Geranium robertianum. 1.1L coir pot.
Native to the UK, this hardy, fast-growing annual has a long history of medicinal use.
The plant has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and astringent properties, among others.
Tea is often made from the leaves and stems, and is believed to strengthen the immune system and act as a general health tonic.
Externally, the plant is used to treat inflamed gums, sore throats and wounds, among other things.
The leaves can be added to your pet’s bedding to help deter fleas.
The flowers are great for feeding pollinators.
Ripe seeds are catapulted from the plant, resulting in plant numbers multiplying and spreading quickly.
