You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within two months. Alternatively, you can use it as a decorative pot plant as the coir pot will last between 12-18 months (then you can plant it in the ground).

Viola tricolour. Also known as Johnny-Jump-Up and Heartsease.
Flowering from late winter through to summer, the endearing tri-coloured flowers are a real delight. It is a wonderful ground cover and a must have in any flower lover’s garden.
This classic plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in moist, well draining soil. It should grow to about 30cm high by 20cm wide and it will benefit from regular watering.
Great for containers and for planting under spring bulbs.
