Oil from the plant is popular in aromatherapy.
French Lavender is used in desserts, jams and vinegars. The leaves and flower buds are popular in tea.
The plant enjoys a full sun position in fairly moist, well draining soil. It will tolerate some shade.
It should grow to about 1.3m high by 1.3m wide.
