You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Description

Lavandula dentata. 1.1L coir pot.

A classic lavender renown for its vigorous growth and highly aromatic leaves and flowers.

The blue – violet flowers appear throughout winter and spring, helping to attract beneficial insects into the garden.

The plant has been used in traditional medicine to assist with colds, flu, headaches and rheumatism, among other things.

Oil from the plant is popular in aromatherapy.

French Lavender is used in desserts, jams and vinegars. The leaves and flower buds are popular in tea.

The plant enjoys a full sun position in fairly moist, well draining soil. It will tolerate some shade.

It should grow to about 1.3m high by 1.3m wide.
