You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This easy to grow, deciduous shrub offers sweet, juicy fruit from mid summer through to autumn.
They’re self-fertile so you’ll only need one plant in order to get fruit.
The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in moist, well draining soil and should grow about 2m high by 1.2m wide.
