You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Native to Tasmania, this perennial offers leaves with a taste similar to rocket, that can be used fresh or cooked.
The flowers, seeds and stems are also edible.
The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in moist, well-draining soil, and should grow around 50cm high by 30cm wide.
