Native to the Mediterranean region, this perennial herb offers peppery-flavoured foliage, ideal for flavouring stews and meats.
Tea made from the leaves is believed to assist with digestive issues, flatulence and intestinal cramps, among other things.

The plant enjoys a full sun position in well draining soil, and should grow around 40cm high by 40cm wide.
It enjoys hot, dry conditions. Drought tolerant once established.
Great for attracting pollinators.
