You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Aloe vera – Aloe barbadensis (Yellow flower).
The gel inside the leaves is often used topically to help treat burns, cuts, skin irritations and sunburn.
Aloe vera is widely used in herbal remedies, food supplements, cosmetics and as a natural flavouring in food.
It is a hardy, easy to grow plant, enjoying a full sun position in free draining soil.
Can be grown indoors if there’s lots of light.
Grows to around 40cm high, with bright yellow flowers growing on spikes around 90cm high.
