You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within two months. Alternatively, you can use it as a decorative pot plant as the coir pot will last between 12-18 months (then you can plant it in the ground).

This classic plant offers small, sweetly-scented flowers in shades of pink, purple and white. The flowers appear for most of the year but they are more prominent in spring.
The plant enjoys a full sun position, can handle most soil types and should grow to about 10cm in height.
Ideal for rockeries, cottage gardens and containers, Alyssum is a versatile ground cover that will help to attract butterflies into the garden.
