You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Agastache foeniculum.
This perennial herb has large anise flavoured leaves and beautiful purple flower spikes that are produced in summer.
Both the leaves and flowers can be consumed and are often used in cooked meals, salads and tea.
The plant enjoys a full sun position in well drained soil. It should grow to about 1m high by 50cm wide and will benefit from regular watering.
