You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Native to Northern India and Asia, Ashwagandha is a prominent herb in Ayurvedic medicine. The dried roots and fresh leaves can be used to make tea.
It is believed to provide increased energy, suppress sugar cravings, boost the immune system, act as an aphrodisiac and relieve stress.
Great for pots, this short, evergreen shrub likes the Perth summer heat. It prefers a full sun to part shade position.
Moderate water use. Don’t overwater in winter.
