You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This dwarf variety usually grows around 2.5m high.
Also known as ‘Sugar Banana’, this small-fruited banana has great flavour and texture.
The plant enjoys a full sun position in well draining soil, and can handle cooler areas.
Bananas are hungry feeders, so feed the soil and water regularly.
