You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This hardy, semi deciduous plant offers black currants along the stems during summer.
The fruit appears on new wood, is very high in vitamin C, and can be used to make cordial, jams and jellies.
The plant enjoys a full sun position in organic-rich soil, and should grow around 1.5m high by 80cm wide.
