Description
Dianella revoluta.
This hardy, strappy evergreen plant produces pale blue flowers followed by bright blue berries, which are juicy and sweet (and a little gritty).
The leaf bases are edible (although rather starchy) and the roots can be roasted or eaten raw.
The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position. It’ll grow about 90cm high by 80cm wide.
Ideal for pots.
