You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This lovely dwarf variety is ideal for containers and should grow to about 1.8m high by 1.5m wide.
‘Blue Rose’ enjoys a part shade position in fertile, free draining, slightly acidic soil.
Protect from the hot afternoon sun.
Self pollinating.
Apply mulch to help keep the shallow roots cool and moist.
