You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This hairy foliaged annual herb produces white star shaped flowers throughout spring and summer.
The flowers and leaves are edible and they’re ideal for salads, drinks and garnishes.
Borage has a long history of medicinal and culinary use.
The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in well drained soil and should grow to around 90cm in height.
The plant benefits from moderate watering but can tolerate dryness.
