This creeping herb is found in the wetlands of India, Africa, Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia.
Brahmi has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for almost three thousand years. It is believed to enhance memory, improve brain function and help with anxiety. It is also known for its anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Great as a container plant, it likes moist, fertile soil in a part shade position. It makes a great indoor plant in a well lit position.
