Description
Bulbine bulbosa. 3.7L coir pot.
You can eat the seeds, roots and corm (the swollen base just under the ground) of this native vegetable.
It may take a few years to produce a corm suitable for harvesting. When the leaves die back (usually during hot weather), the corm is ready to eat.
Don’t eat the leaves.
The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in fairly moist soil and it’ll grow about 35cm high by 30cm wide.
Ideal for pots.
Great for attracting bees.
