Description
Acronychia imperforata. 3.7L coir pot.
Also known as Fraser Island Apple, but despite the name, it’s not an apple.
This fast-growing, subtropical native tree offers small white flowers that the bees, butterflies and birds love.
The small yellow fruit can be eaten straight from the tree, dried or made into jams and syrups.
The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in well-draining soil, and should grow around 6m high by 4m wide in the garden.
Salt-tolerant and ideal for coastal gardens.
Suitable as an edible hedge / screen.
