This highly fragrant mint can be used in cooking, salads and salad dressings.
It makes a lovely peppery-flavoured tea.
It has been used in the manufacture of Creme de Menthe for hundreds of years.
It is ideal for planting as a lawn but avoid heavily trafficked areas (perhaps plant the mint around pavers in such areas). Walking barefoot over a Corsican Mint lawn is a real treat.
This mint likes a full sun position in well draining soil. It enjoys regular watering (doesn’t like getting too wet) and should grow to about 5cm high by 90cm wide.
