You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.
Erysimum linifolium ‘Bowles’ Mauve’.
This mounding shrub offers green to grey foliage and mauve flowers which appear from spring through to autumn.
The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in fertile, free draining soil.
It should grow around 1m high by 50cm wide.
