Description
Acca sellowiana. 3.7L coir pot.
Native to Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay, this evergreen plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in well draining soil.
It grows to around 4m in height but can be maintained to around 2m. Ideal for hedging / screening.
The edible flowers can be used in desserts and drinks.
The green-skinned fruit is egg-shaped, and has an aroma of strawberry and guava.
Self fertile, although it is recommended to have another tree from a named variety for cross pollination, which should result in more (and often better) fruit.
