Deep red skin with a pink – light green pulp.
This evergreen rainforest plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in fertile, moist, well-draining soil, and should grow around 3m high by 2m wide, although this is variable dependant on conditions.
Ideal for pots.
Benefits from regular fertilising.
Due to the thorns, this plant provides a great protected space for nesting birds.
