You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Citrus australasica ‘Rough Green’. 3.7L coir pot.

This ancient citrus has been used as a food source and medicinal plant by Indigenous Australians for thousands of years.

Green skin with a yellow pulp.

This evergreen rainforest plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in fertile, moist, well-draining soil, and should grow around 3m high by 2m wide, although this is variable dependant on conditions.

Ideal for pots.

Benefits from regular fertilising.

Due to the thorns, this plant provides a great protected space for nesting birds.
