Description
Pelargonium citrosum. 1.1L coir pot.
This hardy perennial offers a citronella fragrance when the leaves are crushed or brushed against.
The plant is often believed to have insect repelling properties, but this claim is very questionable, if not a myth.
Lavender – pink flowers, along with the leaves, are used in tea.
Many Pelargoniums have traditionally been used to help treat sore throats, cold sores, wounds, burns and digestive issues, among other things.
The plant enjoys a full sun position in free draining soil, and should grow about 90cm in height.
