You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This hardy perennial has lemon-rose scented foliage and lovely pink flowers.
The leaves are edible and can be added to desserts and salads or used in tea.
The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position and can handle most soil types with good drainage. It performs well in poor soils and exposed positions.
It should grow to around 70cm high by 80cm wide.
