Description
Galega officinalis. 3.7L coir pot.
Native to parts of northern Africa, western Asia and Europe, this perennial grows about 1m high by 80cm wide, and offers white to pink coloured flowers, which the bees love.
Medicinally, the plant has been used as a general tonic, and to help with intestinal parasites and snakes bites, among other things.
Popular as a green manure crop.
The plant enjoys a full sun position in moist, free draining soil.
