This herb has a classic oregano flavour with touches of rosemary and thyme. The leaves are high in vitamins A and C, plant sterols and antioxidants. The strong aromatic flavours of this beautiful oregano work well with garlic, parsley and sage.
The plant enjoys a full sun position in well draining soil. It should grow to around 20cm high by 45cm wide and will require minimal watering.
It is a hardy ground cover that is ideal for suppressing weeds, especially in dry areas.
White flowers appear in summer and look beautiful against the olive green foliage.
