You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Description

Lycopus europaeus. 3.7L coir pot. 

Native to Europe and Northern Asia, the leaves, flowers and stems of this evergreen spreading perennial are commonly used in tea.

The plant has traditionally been used to treat numerous issues, including pain and coughs. It is believed to have mild narcotic and sedative properties.

The plant was used in ancient Egyptian times to make black dye. The plant is still used to make black dye on an industrial level.

The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position, can grow up to 1m in height, and prefers to be kept moist.
