You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Native to North America, Canada and Alaska, this perennial enjoys a full sun to part shade position in free draining soil, and should grow around 60cm in height.
The plant is used to make a cream, salve and oil for topical treatments of bruises, swellings and sprains. Not to be taken internally or on broken skin.
The yellow flowers are loved by beneficial insects.
