This is a great mint with a delicate grapefruit overtone. The flavours are ideal for use in tea and result in a refreshing drink.
The freshly chopped leaves can be used in any cool dish that benefits from a citrus – mint flavour and are ideal for sauces and marinades. If using in hot dishes, add the leaves later in the process to ensure the flavour doesn’t dissipate too much.
The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in well draining soil. It should grow to about 30cm high by 50cm wide. Provide additional watering during the warmer months.
