You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Also known as Apple Mint, this perennial herb has variegated leaves with a light pineapple and mint flavour.
It enjoys a full sun to part shade position in free-draining soil. It will grow to around 40cm high and 100cm wide. In summer, lovely pink flowers will appear. Water well during the warmer weather.
This mint goes well with lemon or lime verbena, lemon or lime balm, pineapple sage or other mints.
Great for containers.
