You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This prostrate spreading perennial enjoys constantly moist conditions in full sun to part shade conditions (it can handle lower levels of light). The creamy variegated foliage can provide a visual lift to darker areas.
It requires moderate fertilising and should be well watered in summer to prevent the leaves from browning.
