You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This woody ground cover offers white flowers and fragrant purple-ish coloured berries.
The berries are crunchy and taste like spiced apples. They are high in antioxidants and can be eaten raw or cooked in a variety of ways.
The plant prefers a full sun or dappled shade position in free draining soil and should grow about 50cm high by 2m wide.
