You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Growing to around 5m in height in the garden, this tree offers lovely glossy leaves with the new growth being lime green in colour.
In spring, fragrant white flowers appear, followed by edible fruit that can be eaten raw or used in salads and cakes.
The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in free draining soil.
