Description
Pipturus argenteus. 3.7L coir pot.
Native to Asia, northern and eastern Australia, and the Pacific region, this rainforest plant produces delicious small white berries with seeds on the outside.
The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position, and it can handle various free draining soil types.
It should grow around 5m high by 3m wide.
It makes a great edible hedge that the birds and butterflies will love too.
All mine are females. A male isn’t needed to produce fruit, as the female will develop fruit herself. Male trees are only required if you want to collect viable seed.
