You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.
Mentha australis – ‘Native Peppermint’. 1.1L coir pot.
This native mint is a hardy plant, offering a lovely peppermint flavour.
It enjoys a full sun to part shade position in loose, well draining soil. Water well in warm weather.
Ideal for containers, this perennial plant should grow to about 40cm high by 90cm wide.
