You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This hardy plant is a great edible addition to the garden and it’ll help attract bees and insects.
The leaves can be eaten fresh or dried.
Native River Mint prefers moist, boggy soil in a shade / part shade position.
A fast growing plant, it should grow around 25cm high by 90cm wide (although it will spread further).
