Native Thyme is a small to medium evergreen shrub with dense growth and a beautiful mint fragrance which is continuously released.
In spring and early summer, it will delight with a mass production of lilac flowers that will almost hide all of the foliage whilst attracting butterflies and birds to the garden.
They will be happiest when grown in moist, well-draining soil in a part shade to full sun location. They will grow to around 1.5m high by 1.5m wide and should be pruned well after flowering to maintain their compact growth.
