You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This hardy, native, perennial ground cover can be used as a lawn substitute in areas where there is light foot traffic.
It is ideal for suppressing weeds.
The flowers are edible, white in colour with mauve centres.
The plant enjoys a part shade position in moist, free draining soil, and should grow around 15cm high by 90cm wide.
