You can plant the coir tube pot directly into the ground (or into a bigger pot), which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within two months.

Both the seeds and leaves of this fast growing shrub are edible, with the latter offering a salty flavour.
The leaves can be eaten raw, cooked like a leafy vegetable or dried.
The plant enjoys a full sun to part shade position in free draining soil.
It should grow about 2.5m high by 1.5m wide.
Drought tolerant once established.
Ideal for containers or edible hedging.
