You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

Parietaria judaica. 3.7L coir pot.

Native to Central Asia, Europe, Macronesia and North Africa, this hardy plant is often found growing in cracks of walls and footpaths.

It prefers a slightly damp, sheltered position, but it can handle a variety of growing conditions.

The plant has a spreading habit and usually grows around 50cm in height.

The plant has traditionally been used in herbal medicine to treat bladder and kidney stones.
