You can plant the coir pot directly into the ground, which will eliminate root disturbance and help keep your plant happy. The roots will make their way through the pot and into the soil. The pot itself will decompose within about two months in healthy, watered soil.

This highly fragrant, spreading perennial has deep green leaves and reddish stems.
It enjoys a full sun to part shade position in moist, well draining soil.
Ideal for pots, it’ll grow about 60cm high by 100cm wide.
Tea can be made with the leaves, which is believed to reduce headaches and nausea and relieve indigestion (among other things).
